Common Issues & Fixes

Start with the exact message beside the form, dialog, or result card. AIMusicGen validates the current account, selected model, required inputs, source asset, and credit balance at different stages, so the visible message is usually a better starting point than submitting the same request again.

Find the stage that failed

What you seeWhat it usually meansFirst action
Create, Generate, or Continue is disabledA visible requirement is incompleteCheck required markers, counters, source cards, and the displayed credit cost
An error appears before a task card existsThe request was rejected during validation or submissionCorrect the named field, file, model, or source
A card remains ProcessingThe accepted background task has not reached a final stateKeep that card and wait for its automatic status refresh
A card becomes FailedThe task reached a final failure stateRead the card error before changing the input and retrying
The result completed but seems missingA search, filter, workspace, album, or Trash view may be hiding itClear filters and check the correct library container
A billing or license action is unavailableThe account, provider state, plan interval, song state, or balance is not eligibleOpen Subscription or Commercial License and read the current eligibility message

Do not create duplicate tasks while the first card is still Processing. A normal page reload is reasonable after a long wait, but it does not make a second submission safer.

Create or Generate is disabled

Check the form from top to bottom after every model or mode change:

  1. Complete every field marked as required and stay within its live character counter.
  2. Confirm that any required song, upload, voice, Reference, first frame, last frame, or other image slot is valid.
  3. Recheck model-specific controls. Changing the model can change accepted inputs, duration, result count, price, and supported actions.
  4. Sign in if the action belongs to an account.
  5. Compare the displayed cost with the current credit balance.

For music creation, use Create Page Inputs & Settings. For visual inputs, use Create Images & Cover Art or Create AI Videos.

An upload is rejected or disappears

The upload area is the authority for accepted format, size, and duration. A file can pass a general upload check and still be incompatible with the selected action or model.

  • Preview the file locally and in the product before submitting it.
  • If changing the model clears the upload or Reference, the new selection does not support the same source state; select a compatible workflow and add the source again.
  • For voice work, use one clear speaker or singer with limited noise, backing music, echo, and heavy effects.
  • For reference images, verify file type, crop, aspect ratio, and the required number and order of images.
  • If the browser cannot read the duration or preview, export a fresh standard-format file and try that copy.

The exact music upload workflows are listed in Upload Audio & Choose an Action.

A task is processing, failed, or charged credits

Accepted generation work appears as a task or result card. The list updates automatically while work is unfinished and stops checking after every item reaches a final state.

  • While Processing, leave the original card in place and avoid another submission with the same input.
  • If it becomes Failed, keep the error text and note whether the displayed balance changed.
  • If the card completed but the asset is not visible, refresh once, remove status filters, and inspect the relevant Workspace, Album, visual history, or Trash view.
  • If a credit balance looks wrong, record the balance, task ID, time, model, and final status before contacting support.

Credit timing and failure handling differ by action. Read How Credits & Tasks Work instead of assuming every button charges or refunds at the same moment.

A song, image, video, or upload seems missing

Check whether the item is hidden rather than deleted:

  1. Clear search text and active filters.
  2. Confirm the current Workspace or Album.
  3. Check the correct content type: songs, images, AI videos, or music videos have different histories.
  4. Open Trash if the item was deleted from a normal list.
  5. For older content, check Previous Assets and any migration job status.

Moving a song between Workspaces or removing it from an Album is not the same as deleting the song. See Workspaces & Albums and Trash, Restore & Previous Assets.

A share or download action is unavailable

  • A public share page requires the song visibility to be Public. After changing visibility, test the copied link in a signed-out window.
  • Result downloads require a completed item and the format currently available for that provider result.
  • Stem and MIDI files come from their dedicated completed tool results; they are not automatically attached to every song.
  • Commercial License is enabled for completed songs, but actual download eligibility also depends on an active monthly or yearly subscription. Monthly and yearly rules are different.

Use Visibility, Sharing & Downloads for normal exports and Commercial License for plan-based usage rights.

Subscription or payment information looks wrong

Open the account menu, choose Subscription, and select Refresh once. The page separates recurring Subscriptions from One-time payments, so a credit purchase will not appear as a recurring plan.

If PayPal shows Not synced, or Stripe/PayPal cannot be loaded, do not repeat Cancel, Resume, or checkout actions. Record the provider, subscription or transaction reference, displayed status, amount, currency, and time. Continue with Subscription, Billing, Cancellation & Refunds.

Commercial License cannot be downloaded

Check all four conditions shown by the implementation:

  1. You are signed in and the local subscription record is active and not past its current period end.
  2. General licenses require an active yearly subscription; monthly subscribers can create only a one-song Specific license.
  3. Every Specific song belongs to the signed-in account and has Completed status.
  4. A monthly subscriber has 100 credits for a song that has not already been licensed.

Music ID is required for a Specific license; the title is not a substitute. If the subscription check fails, use Retry Subscription Check before attempting the download again.

Improve a result before treating it as a bug

For songs, keep exact words in Lyrics and global sound in Style. Put one main genre first, remove conflicting instruments or moods, and change one important variable per retry. Use Replace Section for one local defect and Extend for an incomplete ending.

For Voice Changer or voice training, improve the source recording before changing many model settings. Some sounds can leak between separated tracks when the source is a dense finished mix rather than the original studio recordings.

For images, state the subject, environment, composition, lighting, and style. For videos, add camera behavior, subject motion, environment motion, and timing. For transcripts, correct the source language and select only the speaker/channel and timestamp detail the task needs.

The Best Practices guide provides a systematic review sequence for quality problems.

Escalate a reproducible issue

If corrected input and one normal reload do not resolve the same failure, preserve the task or transaction evidence and use Contact Support. Include the exact page, action, time zone, visible task or transaction ID, settings, and error text. Never send passwords, email codes, full card numbers, secret access keys, or private source material unless support specifically requests an appropriate file.
