Deuteronomy 28 1:1-15

“Now listen, be obedient to the voice of your God,

take care to do all I am commanding you today,

God will set you on high—

above all the nations of the earth.

Then all these blessings will come upon you

if you listen to the voice of your God

Then all these blessings will come upon you and overtake you,

if you listen to the voice of your God

Blessed will you be in the city,

and blessed will you be in the field

Blessed will be the fruit of your womb,

the produce of your soil,

and the offspring of your livestock—

the increase of your herds and the young of your flock.

Then all these blessings will come upon you and overtake you,

if you listen to the voice of your God:

Blessed will be your basket

and your kneading bowl will never be without

Blessed will you be when you come in,

and blessed will you be when you go out.

The Almighty will cause your enemies

to be struck down right before you.

They will come against you one way

and flee before you seven ways.

God will command the blessing on you

in your barns and in every effort of your hand,

and He will bless you in the land.

Then all these blessings will come upon you and overtake you,

if you listen to the voice of your God:

God will establish you as a holy people for Himself,

just as He swore to you—

if you keep His laws and walk in His ways.

Then all the peoples of the earth will see

and they will stand in awe of you.

You will overflow in prosperity—

in the fruit of your womb,

in the offspring of your livestock

and the produce of your soil—

on the land God swore to your fathers to give you.

He will open His good storehouse in the heavens—

to give you rain in its season

and to bless all the work of your hand.

Then all these blessings will come upon you and overtake you,

if you listen to the voice of your God:

You will lend to many nations,

but you will not borrow from them

He will make you the head and not the tail,

and you will be only above and not below—

if you listen to your God.

I am commanding you today,

So be careful that you do them

and do not turn aside from the words I say today,

Not to the right nor to the left,

to go after other gods in order to serve them.
